Warranty
We strive to make the best knives we can, and we are constantly trying to make them better, but we recognized that we are not perfect and stuff happens. We spend hours on each knife that leaves our shop to try and ensure it is functioning optimally, but once it leaves it is out of our control. We want you to enjoy our knives from the moment that you receive it to whenever you decide to trade, sell, or pass it along to your children, but there is only so much that we can cover under our warranty.
- If you are the original owner of the knife then we will extend a limited life time warranty on manufacturer defects, that does not include wear and tear, misuse, abuse, or alteration of the knife.
- If you are not the original owner of the knife we will try to fix any issue, but it is at our discretion whether and how much we need to charge for the repair.
Warranty Repair Schedule
At FFKW we do our best to return all knives as soon as possible; however we are in a constant state of production, R & D, and there may be other knives ahead of yours for repair. Due to the limited quantities that we make of any given model sometimes we have to have a new part made and are at the mercy of our supply chain.
Non-Covered Items
Any malfunction due to end user modification, “pimping your knife”, and removing or changing the factory finish, will not be covered under warranty repair. Furthermore FFKW’s warranty policy does not cover any damage caused by disassembly, abuse, misuse, loss, improper handling, alterations, accident, neglect, improper sharpening, or abnormal wear. Repairs or modifications performed by any source other than FFKW also unconditionally void the knife’s warranty.

Shipping
FFKW cannot be responsible for items lost or stolen in transit for warranty service.
A small payment is generally required to send your knife back to you, but will be assessed when we receive the knife.
Directions for Authorized Returns:
Make sure that the knife is protected whether that is in the original padded case, bubble wrap, or some other impact absorbing material.
Include: Name & current address to be returned to, phone number where we can easily reach you, a note with what the issues are.
We use USPS Priority quite a bit; it does give us a tracking number which we see as critical.

Please note that all payments (if one is needed) on repairs, parts & shipping must be made before any product leaves our shop, no exceptions. Please understand that we are not a ginormous company with operators standing by, but we do care & do our best to take care of our clients.
